Living at Big Hill (actually not)

Friday, April 26, 2013

Hello all, hey! an almost major transission for me has happened lately.  We slapped four new tires on our silver home.  And answered a call from some nice people in Kansas who needed a host position filled at a fantastic lake and Oak tree filled forest-(this includes critters).

Speaking of critters, we brought my two male toms with us...they took the ride pretty good being in the Airstream in their carriers for a one day trip.
Randee is such a ham...but I love him and he knows it.

Before we headed out we had a fuel pump replaced in the front tank of the truck.

This was a very much needed fix for all conscerned!

Before we left we had to update our tag sticker- we had no idea it was out of date, but made a trip to Seymour Texas to retreive it.As we left, we passed the little apartment we started out in way back in 1995.  Looks like no ones home now huh?

Meanwhile we set sail for Kansas doing a last minute tire and hitch check before leaving the parking lot at Walmart in Altus.

It took the whole day of driving and even into the first hours of night to get to where you see now...the leaves in these trees will be shading us in the hot afternoons to come when thier huge palm sized leaves come out full.

Stewart, my second male Tabbie is the intellecutual of the cat pair, and he is checking everything out.  I hope we have a great stay at this place and our lives will get even better as time goes by.
Over and out,  Billy
