Don't let your airbrush get this way!

Lordy- look at this airbrush! What a shame (not really) I just get busy with my work, and I will push my airbrush to the limit- and that includes letting it get gooked up with paint build up.

Buit let me say here that PAACSHE AIRBRUSHES are so very durable and long lasting- great for big jobs and industrial situations.
But what I want you to see is that trigger---the button just below my index finger. That trigger is pushed down (for air) and then pulled back slowly to release paint..that comes out and hits the wall in the form of a circular DOT.
Usually on a paasche Airbrush - there is a red handle at the back...it's there for people who absent mindedly drop their airbrush and bend some of the parts.
People- please do not drop you airbrush, nor do you hand it to anyone (even your brother or kinfolks) to hold. Because when you bend a part inside it affects the spray and the movement of the inside parts.
Below and attached to the airbrush in this instance is a one ounce paint bottle that I use for medium sized jobs. The oil paint I use, no matter what color should be as thin as blood, for example...liquid yet full of color and pigment. If it is too thick it will make it hard for the internal air suction to pull it out and flow like you need it to with an un- interrupted pattern.
Too thin and it will over spray to the sides and will make your work look fuzzy!
Most experienced artist will remove the red handle that covers the back. They do this because of - in case a clog happens in the paint flow, we are able to release the needle and pull it back to get rid of the clog. Once done, you tighten the nut (that first knobby looking thing at the rear) and you asre quickly back to work.
