Have you ever thought about airbrushing?
I picked up on Airbrushing many years ago.
What I know now, I can teach you ... 
Day to day I keep a pretty solid work pattern going with my Paasche double action Airbrush.
When we first started really going public with painting, our very very first project was to literally plant a mural in front of a busy place. A super market for example made a great start for us.  People at the check outs would look out and across the street at us and talk to each other about what we were doing.

Next thing you know we got work in other towns nearby, and then even to other states with bigger $$ in mind.

You have to crawl before you walk, but when you get up and going good, you will spend more time controlling the crowds!  But you will really enjoy doing your outdoor projects for other people to see.
